Just make sure that there is no leeway for movement, once the bolts and nuts are attached to the floor and to the bowl. Replacing a toilet water supply tube which normally is going to come out from the wall, or from the floor needs to be done by tightening the connecting nut at the end of the tube to either the tank, if the model comes in one piece, or to the toilet bowl, if it is a two-piece model. The tank is going to have a part which is protruding from its bottom portion. You have to attach the tank bolts to this portion, in such a manner that the bolts are facing downwards. So start by placing washers on that protruding portion. Then insert the bolts into the toilet tank. After you have placed the tank carefully in its proper place on the bowl, guide the bolts into their respective holes and tighten them. Make sure that the tank is steady and positioned on a straight level. Attach the flexible water supply tube properly and connect the chain and the handle of the time, so that the flush system begins to work properly.
